The Art Stable specialises in Contemporary and Modern British paintings, prints, sculpture and ceramics.

Opening hours: During exhibitions Wednesday to Saturday, 10.00am – 3.00pm and at other times by appointment.

Directions: The ‘Arts Stable’ is situated in the farmyard of Gold Hill Organic Farm, which is off the road to Manston. After turning off the village road into Ridgway Lane, take the first right into the courtyard. The gallery is on the left.

Open 7 days a week all day from 12. Serving good and reasonably priced pub food Tues-Sunday lunch 12-2 and TuesdaySaturday night 6.30 – 8. Sunday Roast Beef with all the trimmings £8.50 booking advisable.

Gold Hill Organic Farm Shop stocks a wide range of home-grown organic vegetables, fruit, meat and grocery products.

Picked from the fields each morning, our vegetables are bursting with flavour and nutrition – discover the delights of eating seasonal organic produce, fresh from plot to plate.

The farm is certified organic by the Soil Association, so we use no artificial fertilisers or pesticides – our veg is simply grown, simply harvested, and simply brilliant.

You’ll find the best local artisanal products that North Dorset has to offer at Gold Hill Organic Farm Shop, from James’ Cheese, matured right here at the farm, to A Jar Of jams and chutneys made in Sturminster, to organic chicken from Hazelbury Bryan and Organic beef from Margaret Marsh.

Our milk comes direct from the organic Wilcox Dairy in Mere, and our bread is freshly delivered each morning from the award-winning Leakers Bakery in Bridport.
