What’s on at CORGI

CORGI are organising a number of events in the next couple of months. We also have a couple of other events, dates to be confirmed but a Celidh and a Lantern Procession with Carols both in December.

The Big Breakfast is back.

On Sunday 23rd September the ever popular big breakfast is back at the Community Centre. Past events have been quickly sold out so ring Kirsty on 01258 860477 to reserve your place.


Oketoberfest – Child Okefords very own Beer Festival.

A great evening of socialising, an evening to rival the great German Oktoberfests! Beers, music, sausages, serving wenches (with a difference) and we are sure many laughs!

Open at 18.30 with the music starting at 19.30 until 23.00hrs.

A bar serving a selection of local beers, lagers and wine & prosecco.

Hambledon Hill Run

The Inaugural Child Okeford Hill Race – from the Child Okeford Community Centre to the top of Hambledon Hill and back again over a marked and marshalled course. Being the first year, this year’s winners have the chance to set the race records for all to try and beat next year!

We have 2 Fun Run Categories 0.9km for U6, 1.8km for U12, then the main 6k event for Male and Female U16, General Entry and Over 60.

There will be an open bar serving local ales and soft drinks and a BBQ serving hotdogs and hamburgers.

CORGI are organising a Hill Run on 6th October. A 6km marshalled and marked race up and down Hambledon Hill. See https://www.facebook.com/TheHillChildOkeford for the course and how to register.
