45th Annual Village Show

Held on the 12th August we are pleased that to say we had a very successful village show , with 225 entries, which included lots of newcomers and we were complimented by the judges on the standard of entries. We were very pleased to welcome Reverend Andrew Gubbins as our visitor of the day and, as well as choosing his favourite entry (a photo of Morris Dancers by Roger Hull), he handed out all the cups and trophies to the winners of each class.

As this was Ann Pearce’s last duty as club chairman, she was presented with a bouquet of flowers as a thank you for her work over the last 7 years. She will be greatly missed by the club and committee.
