A New Chapter for the Village Shop

On 1 April 2026, Owain and Ian Hughes officially took over the ownership of the village shop.

The shop has long been at the heart of village life, providing not only essential goods and services but also a place where neighbours meet, catch up, and support one another. Owain and Ian feel privileged to be continuing this important role within the community.

As local residents, they understand how much the shop means to everyone and are committed to building on the strong foundations that have already been established. Their aim is to keep the shop welcoming, well-stocked, and responsive to the needs of the village, while introducing new ideas and products that they hope residents and visitors alike will enjoy.

Facilities Include: take out Pies etc (known for our Cornish pasties and organic bread) and delicious baked goodies from the instore bakery.  COSTA Coffee and Tea and extensive range of COOK meals.

• Sunday Closed
