Neighbourhood Watch – a new group for Child Okeford
Neighbourhood Watch offers the opportunity for people in our community to:
1) Join Neighbourhood Watch as an individual and benefit from emails about local crimes to be on
QE II Trust Playing Fields Help Required!
The parish council as trustee of the Child Okeford QEII
Playing Fields (the Rec) plan to re-wild a small area of the field to the
South of the lower goal. No beavers
PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF DUCK STREET, CHILD OKEFORD
All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Duck Street, Child Okeford between Station Road and a point approximately 380 metres east between 08:00 – 17:00
PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF STATION ROAD
Planned road closure – outside Ansford Cottage. The closure has been requested to allow SGN to carry out new connection works. These works are programmed to commence

The Parish Council are the trustees of the QEII Playing Fields and Community Centre, and are working on plans to encourage greater use of this great space in the village.
In Memoriam – John Edwards
John Edwards, a long time resident of Child Okeford passed away age 98 on Tuesday 16 July 2024. His funeral will take place at Stourpaine church on 15 August 2024 at 1.00pm.
